Terms and Conditions

Mobile specific terms and conditions (these are in addition to general terms and conditions)

• All of our time on site is chargeable
• We charge £90 for the first 30 minutes labour on site, or part of
• No shows are charged at £90 or cost of the service booked
• Vehicle must have access of at least 1 metre all the way around them 
• Vehicle must be level and off public roads
• We must be able to park our service van within 4 metres of your caravan or motorhome
• We require 48 hours notice to cancel a job otherwise the full cost of the job booked is chargeable
• If we have to return to complete a service or habitation check due to keys not been present then our time is chargeable at the aforementioned rates
• If we are unable to complete the service booked due to our terms not being met, the full cost of the booked service is chargeable
• All locks and covers must be removed before we arrive
• Your caravan must be in the position required for us to commence the service when we arrive, any time spent moving your caravan will be charged at £15 per 15 minutes or part of
• Motorhome water tank must be filled if you want us to check your water system (we will bring water for caravans)

General Terms & Conditions

• Vehicle must be emptied inside to allow access for works, any cupboards, beds or dinettes not emptied will not be damp checked
• Toilet flush tank must be filled to allow us to test – otherwise we will just press the flush button to test the pump
• Please leave your electric hook up cable and external water pump in your doorway so we can find them easily
• If we replace any security locks for you it is your  responsibility to check them once we have left along with checking all doors, windows and skylights are closed and locked if required
• We will not remove the wheels of a caravan if dust caps have been fitted to the bolts
• We will not replace caravan wheel trims if we have removed your wheels, as you will need to recheck the bolts before your next journey
• Gas hoses, regulators, hitch pads and breakaway cables will be changed if required, these items are chargeable so please let us know if you wish to be notified before we change them.

• All vehicles left in our car park are left at the owners risk
• It is the customers responsibility to ensure their vehicle has adequate insurance whilst it is in the care of Caravan Dan Ltd
• No responsibility will be taken for any loss or damage to your vehicle not caused by any of Caravan Dans representatives
• Estimated date for completion of works may change if extra works are required or parts cannot be sourced
• We will not be held responsible for any loss of holidays, journeys tolls or fares lost due to works not been completed on time
• We advise no journeys are planned until works are completed
• We will not be held responsible for delays caused by suppliers
• After completion of works it  is the customers responsibility to check the wheel bolt torques of their caravan after 30 miles and before every journey
• All special order parts must be paid for in full prior to them being ordered
• All parts remain the property of Caravan Dan Ltd until paid for in full
• All works must be paid for in full before vehicle is returned to the customer
• The customer is liable for any shortfall in payment from insurance or warranty company claims
• Customers authorise Caravan Dan Ltd to transport their vehicle from one place to another as required for purposes of testing, diagnostics or transfer to and/or from a third party
• Customer is liable for any low emission zone charges that occur if your vehicle is transported by us
• If we help you hitch up your caravan it is still your responsibility to complete your road and safety checks
• All works come with a 1 year guarantee 
• All works are completed at customers request
• Any additional works requested on the day will only be completed if we have time, in busy periods we will need to give another appointment
• We only do while you wait appointments by prior arrangement
• Collection and delivery of your caravan or motorhome is chargeable, minimum cost £70 inc vat
• It is the customers responsibility to return their vehicle to our workshop if any warranty issues arise
• We currently do not provide a courtesy vehicle
• Customers must not enter the workshop unless invited
• We will fit our own wheel and hitch locks to your caravan whilst it is in our care, you need to let us know if there are any other insurance requirements on your policy
• Labour costs are £90 per hour inc. vat in increments of 15 minutes

• Fire extinguishers must be mounted to an accessible surface or it will be marked as a fail on your check sheet
• Any vehicles not collected within 48 of completion of works will be subject to a £35 + VAT storage charge per 24 hour period or part of unless prior arrangements have been agreed.
